LOTTERY SENDS $13 MILLION TO EDUCATION
The Missouri Lottery today transferred more than $13 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. This month’s transfer of $13,085,000 is based on lottery sales in April, and it brings the total amount transferred in fiscal year 2000 to more than $142 million.
The Missouri Lottery has provided the state, including education, with nearly $1.5 billion since the lottery began selling tickets 14 years ago.
