Florissant Woman Spells Financial Freedom

A Missouri Lottery “Crossword” player from Florissant has scratched her way to financial freedom after uncovering a $50,000 top prize in the game.  Jennifer Vance bought the winning ticket at Merello BP, 425 N. Highway 68, in Florissant.  She presented the ticket for claim at the St. Louis Lottery office on Oct. 8.
Vance, 45, immediately knew how to use the prize money.  The mother of three girls said she needs a home and plans to use the windfall to purchase property.
“Crossword” is a $3 game with a top prize of $50,000.  The latest version of this popular Scratchers game officially began Aug. 28.  Players uncover letters that are used to spell words on the ticket.  The number of words spelled determines the prize amount.  More than $9 million in prizes, including 10 top prizes, remain in the game.  Players can track prizes remaining for this and every Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket here at Molottery.com.
