Stover Man Scratches $50,000 Sum

A Stover man is $50,000 richer after uncovering the top prize amount on a Missouri Lottery "Crossword" Scratchers ticket on Sept. 13.  Michael Ivie, 42, purchased the winning ticket at Versailles Eagle Stop, 810 W. Newton St., in Versailles.

"Crossword," a $3 game with a top prize of $50,000, officially began on Aug. 28.  To date, 12 top prizes, as well as thousands of prizes ranging from $3 to $5,000, remain in play.
