Centertown Woman's Scratchers Ticket is the Gift that Keeps on Giving

Stemming from a single-ticket purchase, Judy Cliburn has been winning with the Missouri Lottery for months. On Sept. 3, the Centertown woman claimed her biggest prize yet – a $10,000 prize from a “Silver 7’s” Scratchers game.

“I won $100 on this ticket a few months ago,” she explained.  “I’ve been playing on it ever since; I cash in my winnings and get more tickets.”

This time, the ticket she purchased at Stacy’s Market and Grill, 6821 Business 50 W. in Jefferson City, won her considerably more than enough to buy a few more tickets.

“I scratched it off and saw all these ‘$500s’ on it,” she said.  “I showed it to my son, and he said, ‘I think the whole card’s a winner.’  Then my other son said, ‘That’s $10,000, Mom!’”

Recalling how she had told a fellow customer at the store that she was going to stop for a while if she didn’t win anything on her latest set of “Silver 7’s” tickets, Cliburn said she was glad her luck kicked in, and she immediately made plans for her newfound winnings.

“I’m going to put new flooring in my kitchen and bathrooms,” she shared.

The $5 “Silver 7’s” Scratchers game officially began Feb. 27 and offers a top prize of $77,000.  Details about remaining prizes for this game, and all Missouri Lottery Scratchers games, can be found on Molottery.com.
