Missouri Lottery Introduces First 'Kansas City Chiefs' Ticket

The Missouri Lottery has teamed up with the Kansas City Chiefs to offer its first ever “Kansas City Chiefs” Scratchers ticket.  Not only can Chiefs fans and Lottery players win cash prizes up to $70,000, but they can also win unique experiences – such as watching a game in the Founder’s Suite – through three drawings in the “Chiefs Game Plan” promotion.  The Lottery will announce the new Kansas City Chiefs ticket at the free open practice Aug. 25, at the New Arrowhead. 

 “We are so excited about our partnership with the Kansas City Chiefs,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery.  “We think both Chiefs fans and Lottery players will enjoy this game and related promotion, which is full of great prizes, including Club Level season tickets and pre-game sideline passes.”

Reardon noted that partnering with such a well-known NFL team like the Chiefs is an invaluable opportunity for the Lottery.

“Being able to offer the ‘Kansas City Chiefs’ ticket is a wonderful way for us to reach new players and potentially increase our proceeds, which directly benefit Missouri students,” said Reardon.

 “The debut of a Chiefs branded Lottery ticket in the state of Missouri through a partnership with the Missouri Lottery is very exciting to our passionate and engaged fan base,” Kansas City Chiefs COO Mark Donovan said.  “The program allows fans the chance to win over $70,000 in cash and once-in-a-lifetime Chiefs prizes available exclusively through the “Kansas City Chiefs” ticket.”

In addition to being able to win up to $70,000 instantly in the game, players can send in non-winning tickets to the “Chiefs Game Plan” promotion for a chance to win:

• Grand Prize – 2011 Kansas City Chiefs Founder’s Suite single-game tickets and pre-game sideline passes for two to one game, food and beverages, $100 Chiefs Pro Shop gift card, hotel accommodations and $250 spending cash.  (One per prize drawing; three prizes total)
• First Prize – 2011 Kansas City Chiefs Club Level Season Tickets:  Two season tickets including food, beverages and a parking pass.  (One prize per drawing; three prizes total)
• Second Prize – 2011 Kansas City Chiefs single-game tickets and pre-game sideline passes for 16, $500 cash for food and beverage, a pre-game tailgate party and five parking passes. (One prize per drawing; three prizes total)
• Third Prize – Kansas City Chiefs single-game Field-Level Red Zone tickets and pre-game sideline passes for two during the 2011 season.  Prizes include a $50 Chiefs Pro Shop gift card and two Chiefs caps. (Two prizes per drawing; six prizes total)
• Fourth Prize – Authentic autographed Kansas City Chiefs jersey.  (Four prizes  per drawing; 12 prizes total)
• Fifth Prize – Kansas City Chiefs $100 Pro Shop gift card that can be redeemed online at www.kcchiefs.com or at the Pro Shop in Arrowhead Stadium. (50 prizes per drawing; 150 prizes total)
