Quadruple Numbers Drawn in Pick 4: Only Third Time in Lottery History

For just the third time in Missouri Lottery history, a set of quadruple numbers was drawn during a Pick 4 drawing.  The numbers 6, 6, 6 and 6 were selected during the evening drawing on Sunday, Aug. 15, resulting in a total of 75 winning tickets.

“We sold $35,058 worth of Pick 4 tickets for that drawing, and the total payout to players ended up being $205,290,” according to Scott White, online product manager for the Missouri Lottery.  “That’s a prize payout of 585 percent.”

The two previous times quadruple numbers were drawn in a Pick 4 drawing occurred during the evening drawing on Oct. 24, 2000, and during the midday drawing on June 26.  Coincidentally, it was the combination of 5-5-5-5 that proved to be a winner in both of those drawings.

Pick 4 drawings are held each day at 12:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.  The game began on Nov. 2, 1998.
