MO Lottery, MO State Fair, 'Growing Great Memories'

The Missouri Lottery plans on “Growing Great Memories” for fairgoers at this year’s Missouri State Fair in Sedalia.  Lottery staff will be on hand Aug. 12-15 and Aug. 19-22 to offer special State Fair promotions, second-chance drawings with the opportunity to win a pair of Kawasaki 360 4x4 ATVs with trailer or a "Road Trip" package including a Garmin 1490, a Philips portable DVD player with two 9" widescreens and an 8GB iPod Touch.

Fairgoers who stop by the Lottery booth, located directly behind the MSF Foundation Building, can take advantage of fair-time offers that include free tickets.

“It’s a great way for players to sample some of the different games we offer,” said Kristin Vuilcott, events manager for the Missouri Lottery.  Offerings include:

Buy $5 worth of Mega Millions, receive a free Mega Millions thermos.

Friday, Aug. 13
Buy $5 worth of Powerball; get a free $1 Club Keno ticket.

Saturday, Aug. 14
Buy $10 worth of Missouri Lottery tickets (in one transaction); get a free Missouri Lottery T-shirt.

Sunday, Aug. 15
Buy $10 worth of Missouri Lottery tickets (in one transaction); get a free Missouri Lottery T-shirt.

Thursday, Aug. 19
Early Bird Promotion (9-11 a.m. only) - Buy $10 worth of Missouri Lottery tickets (in one transaction); get a free Missouri Lottery T-shirt.

Friday, Aug. 20
Buy $5 worth of Powerball; get a free $1 Club Keno ticket.

Saturday, Aug. 21
Buy $10 worth of Missouri Lottery tickets (in one transaction); get a free Missouri Lottery T-shirt.

What could be greater than that?  All non-winning Missouri Lottery tickets purchased at the State Fair Lottery booth may be entered for a second-chance drawing each day.  A total of 160 players will win $100 worth of Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets Aug. 12-15 and Aug. 19-22 and move forward to the grand-prize drawing for the pair of Kawasaki ATVs on the last day.

The Missouri State Fair runs Aug. 12-22.  Missouri Lottery booth hours at the event will be from noon to 6:45 p.m. Aug. 12-15 and 20-21.  It will be open from 9 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Aug. 19 and noon until 5:45 p.m. on the final day, Aug. 22.
