The Missouri Lottery sends congratulations to “The Enforcer$,” a group of Powerball playing co-workers in the Rolla area, for being named the Lottery’s August Team of the Month. Comprised of 16 employees from Missouri’s Family Support Division, Child Support Enforcement section, the team has earned a prize package of Lottery merchandise and a feature at Molottery.com.
By day, “The Enforcer$” establish administrative child support orders and enforce court-ordered child support.
“We are dedicated to helping the children of Missouri,” said Holly French of Dixon, who serves as the “The Enforcer$” team captain.
By night, the group enjoys playing Powerball each Wednesday and Saturday.
In addition to French, team members include: Barbara Bradshaw of Lecoma; Sherry Cook and David Garrett, both of Salem; Jerrie Davis of Crocker; Donna James of St. James; Carolyn Mercer, Linda Midyett and Dorthy Uhl, all of Sullivan; Susan Lindberg, Cindy Taylor, Michele Walworth and Connie Williams, all of Rolla; Sherry Smith of Belle; Bill South of Bunker and Don Vrba of Dixon.
“The Enforcer$” have been playing as a group since 2007, and each team member puts in $2 each week for the Powerball drawings. When the jackpot reaches more than $125 million, they double their play. According to French, all winnings are “locked away, and we use that money to play the extras for the high jackpots.
“We are a team and everyone is in no matter what,” French added. “We play every week in hopes of winning. Just like everyone who plays, we have that dream of winning and being able to enjoy being debt free.”
As for advice for fellow Lottery teams, she says, “Remember, this is fun, and if we are lucky enough to win, that makes it even more fun.”
