BLUE SPRINGS PLAYER WINS $100,000 IN TRIPLE PLAY

A Blue Springs lottery player is $100,000 richer after matching all four numbers in the Missouri Lottery’s newest numbers game, $100K Triple Play, on Friday night. The winning ticket was purchased at Price Chopper, 1305 N. 7 Highway in Blue Springs. Price Chopper will receive $1,000 for selling a winning $100,000 ticket. One other $100K Triple Play ticket sold for Friday night’s drawing matched all four numbers drawn to win the $100,000 top prize. That ticket was sold in Ellisville. To play "$100K Triple Play," players can select four numbers between 1 and 51 in Game 1 or let the computer select the four numbers for that set by choosing "Quick Pick." Then, the computer will automatically "Quick Pick" four numbers for each of the next six sets of numbers. To win, a player can match two, three or four numbers in any of the seven sets of four numbers. Prizes include $2, $2,500, $5,000, $25,000 and $100,000 tax paid. $100K Triple Play drawings are held every Friday night at 6:57 p.m. The final drawing for the new limited-time numbers game will be June 30.
