Springfield Man Wins "$100,000 Riches"

Story Photo A man from Springfield has become the first player to claim a top prize on the Missouri Lottery "$100,000 Riches" Scratchers ticket.  Wayne Sanders, 62, purchased his winning ticket at Break Time, 1211 E. Grand, in Springfield.  After uncovering the $100,000 prize, Sanders presented the ticket for claim at the Springfield Lottery office on June 16.

Sanders, an avid Lottery player, said he would use the winnings to "pay bills."

"$100,000 Riches" is a $5 game that officially began June 12.  In addition to four top prizes of $100,000 and a host of smaller prizes, non-winning "$100,000 Riches" Scratchers tickets are eligible for entry into the Missouri Lottery’s "Ticket To Ride" second-chance promotion.  Players will have the chance to win one of three new cars and other prizes during three drawings to be held this summer.  To learn more about this game or the "Ticket To Ride" promotion, click here.
