LOTTERY TRANSFERS $17 MILLION TO EDUCATION
The Missouri Lottery today transferred $17 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. This month’s transfer of $17,097,839 is based on lottery sales in March, and it brings the total amount transferred in fiscal year 2000 to more than $129 million.
The Missouri Lottery has provided the state, including education, with more than $1.4 billion since the lottery began selling tickets 14 years ago.
