Tightwad Man Pinches $200,000 Lottery Prize

A man from Tightwad has the opportunity to decide how to spend a large windfall after winning $200,000 playing Powerball.  Harold Tausch matched all five white-ball numbers in the March 31 Powerball drawing.  He purchased the winning Quick Pick ticket at Gladstone Mart and Liquor, 7020 N. Oak Trafficway, in Gladstone.
Powerball is a multi-lottery game with jackpots that start at $20 million.  There are nine different ways to win playing Powerball, and for an extra $1 at the time of purchase, players can add Power Play to multiply non-jackpot prizes by a Power Play number between 2 and 5.  A 10 was added to the Power Play matrix for the Powerball Power Play 10X Promotion.  Although the promotion was scheduled to end in May, the Power Play 10X promotion will continue until the 10 is drawn.
