Independence Man Claims $55,000 Show Me Cash Jackpot
An Independence man is $55,000 richer after claiming the Missouri Lottery’s Show Me Cash jackpot prize from the May 31 drawing. Paul Penner, 67, used Quick Pick to select the winning numbers, which were: 3, 9, 12, 15 and 39. He purchased the winning ticket at Shop ’N Go, 17121 E. U.S. Highway 40, in Independence. Show Me Cash offers a rolling jackpot starting at $50,000, which increases by at least $5,000 at each drawing. Penner was the 92nd Show Me Cash jackpot winner since the game began on Sept. 8, 2008. To date, more than $12 million has been awarded in jackpot prizes.
