Three Missourians are $5,000 richer after playing the Missouri Lottery’s new "$100K Triple Play" game. Players won more than $68,000 in the limited-time numbers game’s first drawing on Friday. The three $5,000 winners were: Merlyn Hammond of Blue Eye, who purchased his ticket at Ramey Super Market, 1720 W. Grand in Springfield; Edward Thomas of Gower, who purchased his ticket at Circle A One Stop in Smithville; and Shirley Minor of Independence, who purchased her ticket at QuikTrip, 17826 M-78 Highway in Independence. To play "$100K Triple Play," players can select four numbers between 1 and 51 in Game 1 or let the computer select the four numbers for that set by choosing "Quick Pick." Then, the computer will automatically "Quick Pick" four numbers for each of the next six sets of numbers. To win, a player can match two, three or four numbers in any of the seven sets of four numbers. Prizes include $2, $2,500, $5,000, $25,000 and $100,000 tax paid. The final drawing for the new limited-time numbers game will be June 30.
