Kansas City Man Cashes In $250,000 Mega Millions Prize
Missouri’s fifth Mega Millions winner of $250,000 or more has come forward. Robert Neptune of Kansas City matched all five white-ball numbers in the May 4 drawing. He used Quick Pick to select the winning numbers, which were: 9, 21, 31, 36 and 43. Neptune, 64, purchased the winning ticket at Price Chopper, 6475 N. Prospect Ave., in Gladstone.
Mega Millions is a multi-state game that features jackpots starting at $12 million. Drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday nights at 10 p.m. To date, the highest Mega Millions jackpot prize claimed is $390 million – a prize split by two ticketholders in Georgia and New Jersey. The Missouri Lottery began Mega Millions sales on Jan. 31.
