ODESSA WOMAN WINS $100,000 PLAYING POWERBALL
An Odessa woman can add $100,000 to her retirement account after winning the second-level prize in the April 5 Powerball drawing. Cheryl Hibler, 57, said she plans to invest most of the winnings, but she may also take a trip.
Hibler, a farmer, purchased her winning ticket at QuikTrip, 309 S. Broadway in Oak Grove. She used a combination of her and her husband’s birthdays to pick the winning numbers. They were: 6, 8, 11, 18 and 39.
To date, 482 Powerball tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since the game began in 1992.
