Illinois Man Wins $10,000 Missouri Lottery Prize

Jeffrey Hargrave lives in Cahokia, Ill., but he is thankful he bought his Lottery ticket in Missouri.  Hargrave, 33, purchased a $5 Missouri Lottery "Monte Carlo" Scratchers ticket at 7-Eleven, 2107 Schuetz Road in St. Louis, on March 30.  After scratching the ticket, he discovered he won $10,000, so Hargrave proceeded to the nearby St. Louis regional Lottery office to claim his prize.
"Monte Carlo" is a $5 game that officially began on June 13, 2009.  Several prizes remain in the game, including three top-prizes of $100,000.  Players can track prizes remaining on all Missouri Lottery Scratchers games here at Molottery.com.
