Charleston Man Claims First $70,000 Scratchers Prize

The first of three $70,000 top prizes on the new Missouri Lottery "St. Louis Cardinals®" Scratchers game has been claimed by a man from Charleston.  Jerome Garner, 42, purchased his winning ticket at Flagstop, 211 S. Story St., in Charleston.  After uncovering the top prize of $70,000, he presented his ticket for claim at the St. Louis regional Lottery office. 
   
"St. Louis Cardinals®" is a $5 ticket that officially began on March 27.  In addition to winning cash prizes instantly, players can also win a number of other Cardinals® prize packages, including tickets and merchandise.  Non-winning "St. Louis Cardinals®" tickets are eligible for entry in the "Catch the Cardinals™" second-chance promotion, which includes prize packages of season tickets, road trips and party suites at Cardinals® games.  To learn about all of the exciting baseball prizes offered in this game and promotion, visit the promotion page.
