St. Louis Man Wins $40,000 With Megaplier®

A decision to add the Megaplier® option to his Mega Millions ticket made a difference of $30,000 for one St. Louis man.  Michael Morgan of St. Louis purchased a $10 Quick Pick Mega Millions ticket at Pershall Amoco, 3890 Pershall, in Ferguson.  He matched four white-ball numbers and the Megaball® in the March 23 Mega Millions drawing.  By adding the Megaplier® option, Morgan multiplied his $10,000 prize into $40,000. 
   
The winning numbers for the March 23 drawing were:  3, 25, 28, 29, 40, and the Megaball® number was 13. 
   
The Missouri Lottery began selling Mega Millions tickets on Jan. 31.  Mega Millions is a multi-lottery Numbers Game with jackpots that start at $12 million.  For an extra dollar at the time of purchase, players can add the Megaplier® option and multiply any winnings other than the jackpot by the Megaplier® number.
