Jefferson City Man Claims "Mega MONOPOLY" Top Prize

Fans of the popular board game love the Missouri Lottery "Mega MONOPOLY™" Scratchers ticket.  The $10 game has lots of different ways to win, including a $2 million top prize.  On March 2, the second of six top prizes was claimed by a man from Jefferson City. 
   
Keith Foster purchased the winning "Mega MONOPOLY™" Scratchers ticket at Schnucks Market, 1801 Missouri Blvd., in Jefferson City.  Winners have the option of taking the $2 million top prize as an annuity paid during 20 years or as a lump-sum payment.  The first top-prize winner opted for the lump-sum payment of $1.3 million. 
     
"Mega MONOPOLY™" is a $10 game that officially began on Aug. 29, 2009.  In addition to winning $200 instantly for a "GO" symbol, the game features more than $100 million in prizes.  Many tickets still remain in this game, including four top prizes of $2 million.
