High Ridge Man Collects $5,125 Club Keno Check
It was "kind of a shock" when a High Ridge man discovered he won $5,125 on a Missouri Lottery Club Keno ticket on Feb. 17. Paul Kasal, a trustee at Eagles 4246, 2911 High Ridge Blvd. in High Ridge, was "doing club business" the day of the win.
"I wasn’t even paying attention to the game," he began. "I just played three games, and it actually hit on the first game."
When Kasal, a father of five, finally checked his tickets, he told his wife, "You need to come over and look at this!"
Winning Club Keno is something the 54-year-old has grown accustomed to after winning three prizes in the past few years. The most recent feat is especially exciting, because it is his biggest prize to date.
"It’s a great feeling," he added.
When asked about plans for the windfall, he noted he would "save it the way the economy is."
In Club Keno
, players choose how many different numbers or "spots" they want to play – ranging from 1 to 10 – and 20 random numbers from a field of 1-80 are then chosen in computerized drawings every five minutes. Kasal played a 7-spot game, selecting the numbers using Quick Pick.
