Lebanon Man Claims 'Mega Bucks' Scratchers Prize

Larry Evans made a quick trip to a local Break Time store for gas and Lottery tickets and unknowingly left with a ticket worth $100,000.   Evans, 37, made the routine stop at 593 S. Madison in Lebanon on Jan. 6, but didn’t realize the Missouri Lottery “Mega Bucks” Scratchers ticket he purchased was a top prize winner until he got home.

“I was pretty happy,” he said.  “It was a nice shock.”

Evans considers himself a fairly regular Scratchers player and had been focusing on “Mega Bucks” recently, winning “$100 a couple of times.”  The $5 game officially began Sept. 26, 2009, and still offers more than $8.5 million in available prizes.

As far as plans for his unexpected good fortune, “a new truck and a down payment on a house” are at the top of Evans’ priority list.

Further information on remaining prizes for “Mega Bucks” and all other Missouri Lottery Scratchers games can be found at Molottery.com.
