St. Louis area residents:  Check your Powerball tickets!  One Powerball ticket worth $1 million sold in Jennings is still unclaimed.  The ticket was purchased at Gas Mart, 9301 Lewis and Clark Blvd.  It contains the five winning white-ball numbers drawn – 3, 7, 23, 27 and 42 – in the Jan. 2 drawing.  The ticket purchaser used the Power Play option to win an automatic $1 million.

“Players who know they’ve bought Powerball tickets at this location should check them very carefully,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery.

Powerball players have 180 days from the drawing to claim prizes, which in this case would be July 1.

“If you find you have the winning ticket, make sure you sign the back of the ticket immediately, and then put it in a safe place until you can take it to a Missouri Lottery office,” said Reardon.

Missouri Lottery offices are located in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Kansas City and Springfield.  Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s Web site at Molottery.com.

The Jan. 2 winning ticket is the fourth ticket sold in Missouri to match all five white-ball numbers using the Power Play multiplier option to win $1 million.
