Hillsboro Woman Wins $50,000 "Wheel of Fortune" Prize
A Hillsboro woman has claimed the first top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Wheel of Fortune" Scratchers ticket. Casey James of Hillsboro bought the winning ticket at Ingram’s Market, 3812 Highway Z in Mapaville. She claimed the $50,000 prize at the St. Louis regional Lottery office on Dec. 22."Wheel of Fortune" is a $3 game that officially began on Dec. 9. This is the first of five top prizes of $50,000 offered in this game.
The Scratchers ticket plays like the television game show, and in addition to instant cash prizes, players can submit non-winning tickets into a second-chance promotion until March 30, 2010. In each of three drawings during this promotion, players can win cash prizes or the grand prize; a trip for two to Hollywood to audition for a chance to be a contestant on the Wheel of Fortune® game show.
