Arkansas Woman Receives $250,000 'Season's Greetings' in Neosho

A visit to the Show-Me State proved to be a winning idea for Arkansas resident Mika Townsend.  The Conway woman won a $250,000 top prize on a Missouri Lottery “Season’s Greetings” Scratchers game she purchased at Kum & Go, 15679 Kodiak Road in Neosho.  She bought the ticket on Nov. 21 and claimed her prize at the Lottery’s Springfield regional office on Dec. 9.

Remaining prizes for “Season’s Greetings,” a $10 Scratchers game that officially began Oct. 24, total almost $8 million.  Through Jan. 5, non-winning “Season’s Greetings” tickets can be entered in the Missouri Lottery’s second-chance "Holiday Magic" promotion for a chance to win trips for four to WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort®, $1,000 shopping sprees and Scratchers tickets.

The Missouri Lottery generates nearly $1 billion a year in sales and contributes more than $200 million annually to Missouri public education programs, including the A+ Scholarship Program, Special Education Excess Costs and Vocational Technical Schools.
