Group Splits $200,000 Powerball Prize

Twenty-two individuals split a $200,000 Powerball prize from the Oct. 17 drawing.  The group, who used Quick Pick to select the winning numbers, purchased the winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 900 Shackleford Road in Florissant. 

The group consisted of:  Marlene Schmittling of Brighton, Ill.; Jimmy Hartwick of Edwardsville, Ill.; Johnny Russell of Fairview Heights, Ill.; Richard Weyrauch of Ferguson; Robert Alsup, Andrew Corzine, Lynetta Newbon and Kelvin Ward, all of Florissant; Charles Triantafyllou of Foristell; James Harmon of Grafton, Ill.; Michael Holland of Hazelwood; Marvin Beltz and Michael Bueltmann, both of O’Fallon; Kenneth Besancenez of Old Monroe; Zola Ervin and Lynn McClenahan, both of St. Louis; Dale Bronczyk, John Hussey, Brian Magnah and Daniel Schlueter, all of St. Peters; Kenneth Campbell of Troy, Ill.; and Nathaniel Campbell of University City.

Powerball is a multi-state game that features jackpots starting at $20 million.  The group’s ticket was the 147th second-level winning Powerball ticket sold in Missouri.  The winning numbers from the Oct. 17 drawing were:  5, 16, 25, 30 and 49.
