Lottery Announces Calendar Contest Winners

Rosalie Perryman of Marshfield won a $500 prize, as well as $100 worth of Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets when her photo was chosen – out of a field of more than 800 submissions – as grand-prize winner of the Missouri Lottery’s annual calendar photo contest.  Click here to see all winning photos for the 2010 calendar, which is themed around pets.

Perryman’s grand-prize photo of horses “Angel” and “Joy” is the featured photo for the month of October.  In addition to Perryman’s win, 12 other photographers whose photos were chosen for the calendar will receive $100 in Scratchers tickets.  All winners receive a copy of the calendar and a photo credit.

Other photo contest winners include:

  • Renae Loveland, Hillsboro, whose photo was chosen for the calendar’s cover;
  • Michelle Elise Revenaugh, Gladstone, whose photo was chosen for January;
  • Cynthia Powell, Lake Ozark, whose photo was chosen for February;
  • Becky Davis, Kirksville, whose photo was chosen for March;
  • Rita Smith, Willard, whose photo was chosen for April;
  • Cari Lynn Shepley, Liberty, whose photo was chosen for May;
  • Lisa Buddemeyer, Washington, whose photo was chosen for June;
  • Jodie Garton, Springfield, whose photo was chosen for July;
  • Karen Kliethermes, Jefferson City, whose photo was chosen for August;
  • James Shoemaker, Vichy, whose photo was chosen for September;
  • Mark Cunningham, Cairo, whose photo was chosen for November; and
  • Beverly Robbins, Hillsboro, whose photo was chosen for December.

Ten other entrants received honorable mention, and their photos are displayed at Molottery.com.  The honorable mention entries were submitted by Bev Dauster, Ballwin; Cheryl Houk, Fair Grove; Kay Humphrey, Rolla; Carol Jane Cantrell, Marshfield; Anita Brixey, Urbana; Sandy Floyd, Strafford; Sharon Denise Walker Fleming, St. Louis; Deanna McKenzie, Edina; Letta Smith, Truxton; and Lisa Buddemeyer, Washington.
