ST. LOUIS WOMAN RECEIVES $25,000 VALENTINE

A St. Louis woman (63043*) received a $25,000 tax paid** "valentine" after winning the top prize in the Feb. 11 SHOW ME 5 drawing. Kym Bethea, 40, said she planned to go shopping for Valentine’s Day. Bethea also plans to invest in the stock market and do a little remodeling on her house. Bethea purchased her winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 639 W. Woodbine in Kirkwood. She selected four plays with her own special numbers, and she let the computer select one combination; the computer-generated combination is the one that won. Those numbers were: 3, 7, 16, 17 and 20. * zip code to determine coverage area **Twenty-eight percent federal and 4 percent state taxes are withheld from the total prize amount of $36,764.70 to provide $25,000 cash at the time of redemption. Depending on personal income, winners may owe additional taxes for the prize, or they may receive a refund.
