For the second time in a week, a Lotto jackpot prize has been won in the Kansas City area.  A Missouri Lotto player who buys tickets at Hen House, 6238 N. Chatham Ave. in Kansas City, matched all six numbers drawn Oct. 14 to win $1.1 million.  Those numbers are 3, 7, 18, 19, 27 and 42.

On Oct. 7, a Lotto jackpot ticket worth $2 million was sold at Casey’s, 2000 S. Broadway in Oak Grove.  That prize has been claimed and awaiting final clearance.

"If you’ve bought a Lotto ticket at the Hen House, please check it closely," said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery.  “If you should have the winning ticket, sign the back and put it in a safe place until you can bring it to a Lottery office to claim your prize.”

Lotto winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  In this case, the winner has until April 12, 2010.

Missouri Lottery offices are located in Kansas City, Jefferson City, St. Louis and Springfield.  Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s Web site at Molottery.com.

There have been 194 winning Missouri Lotto jackpot tickets sold since the game began in 1986.
