LOTTERY SENDS $11 MILLION TO EDUCATION
The Missouri Lottery today sent $11.7 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. This month’s transfer of $11,698,415 is based on lottery sales in January, and it brings the total amount transferred in fiscal year 2000 to nearly $99 million.
The Missouri Lottery has provided the state, including education, with more than $1.4 billion since the lottery began selling tickets 14 years ago.
