Lottery Sends $23.2 Million To Public Education Fund

The Missouri Lottery today transferred $23.2 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs.  The September proceeds transfer of $23,203,404 was based on August ticket sales, and brings the total transferred in fiscal year 2010 to more than $63 million.

Since the Lottery began nearly 23 years ago, it has generated more than $3.5 billion in proceeds for the state, including public education.

Nine Scratchers Games Expire in Next Couple of Months

Nine Missouri Lottery Scratchers games are set to expire in September and October:

Game 693, “Wild 8’s” Expires Oct. 4
Game 697, “Ruby Red 7’s” Expires Nov. 14
Game 699, “5 Times The Money” Expires Nov. 14
Game 700, “Triple Cash” Expires Nov. 14
Game 708, “Crossword” Expires Nov. 14
Game 726, “Lucky Heart” Expires Nov. 14
Game 729, “Luck O’ The Irish” Expires Nov. 14
