JEFFERSON CITY WOMAN WINS $900 IN MALL GAME SHOW
Lorraine Riley of Jefferson City left Capital Mall $900 richer last Saturday after winning the Missouri Lottery’s simulated version of the "Fun & Fortune" game show. Two other Jefferson City residents, Kim Skaggs and Tim Taylor, each won $250 and 300 Missouri Lottery tickets during the show.
Other show contestants and their winnings are: B.J. Frisbee of Eldon won 100 Scratchers tickets; and Tim Hubbard of Morrisville, Jamison Beck of New Bloomfield and Lloyd Horn of Jefferson City, all won 50 Scratchers tickets.
The game show was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the center court of the mall. Contestants, who were determined during a non-winning ticket drawing, had a chance to win up to $1,500 cash and other prizes during the show. In addition, the first 500 people who entered the drawing received a "Fun & Fortune" T-shirt.
During February and March, the Missouri Lottery will hold three more simulated game show events in Kansas City, St. Louis and Springfield.
The regular "Fun & Fortune" game show can be seen on KMIZ-TV, Channel 17, at 6 p.m. Saturday.
