Group Purchases Winning Ticket on Winner Road in Kansas City

Ten Missourians split a $200,000 Powerball prize from the Aug. 12 drawing. The group consisted of: Sharon Hostetler and Deborah McGhee, both of Blue Springs; Christine Crowder of Grain Valley;Bruce Franklin, Priscilla Likely and Sharon Wolfe, all of Independence; Robert Rottinghaus of Kansas City; Leona Von Seggern of Lowry City; Linda Loar of Overland Park; and Janie Street of Raytown.
The crew used their own number combination to select the winning numbers, which were: 10, 25, 32, 34 and 47. The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip, 8501 Winner Road in Kansas City.
Powerball is a multi-state game that features jackpots starting at $20 million. The group’s ticket was the 143rd second-level winning Powerball ticket sold in Missouri.
