MO Lottery, MO State Fair, 'MOre Fun Than Ever'
The Missouri Lottery plans “MOre Fun Than Ever” for fairgoers at this year’s Missouri State Fair in Sedalia. Lottery staff will be on hand Aug. 13-16 and Aug. 21-23 to offer special State Fair promotions, second-chance drawings and the opportunity to win a 540 Series John Deere Lawn Mower valued at more than $11,000.
Beginning at noon, fairgoers who stop by the Lottery booth, located directly behind the MSF Foundation Building, can take advantage of fair-time offers that include free tickets.
“It’s a great way for players to sample some of the different games we offer,” said Kristin Vuilcott, events manager for the Missouri Lottery. Offerings include:
Thursday, Aug. 13
Buy $2 worth of Pick 3; get a free $1 Pick 4 ticket.
Friday, Aug. 14
Buy $2 worth of Powerball; get a free $1 Missouri Lotto ticket.
Saturday, Aug. 15
Buy $10 worth of Missouri Lottery tickets (in one transaction); get a free Missouri Lottery T-shirt.
Sunday, Aug. 16
Buy $10 worth of Missouri Lottery tickets (in one transaction); get a free Missouri Lottery T-shirt.
Friday, Aug. 21
Buy $2 worth of Powerball; get a free $1 Missouri Lotto ticket.
Saturday, Aug. 22
Buy $10 worth of Missouri Lottery tickets (in one transaction); get a free Missouri Lottery T-shirt.
Sunday, Aug. 23

What’s “MOre fun” than that? All non-winning Missouri Lottery tickets purchased at the State Fair Lottery booth may be entered for a second-chance drawing each day. A total of 70 players will win $100 worth of Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets Aug. 13-16 and Aug. 21-23 and move forward to the grand-prize drawing for the John Deere tractor on the last day.
The Missouri State Fair runs Aug. 13-23. Missouri Lottery booth hours at the event will be from noon to 6:45 p.m. Aug. 13-16 and Aug. 21-22. The booth will be open from noon until 5:45 p.m. on the final day, Aug. 23.
