Missouri Lottery Pick 3 players got lucky and "broke the lottery bank" when the combination 4-4-4 was drawn in the June 8 evening drawing – paying out 356 percent in prizes.  A total of 1,183 winning tickets were sold for last night’s drawing with a total payout of $348,960.

"This is the third time this year that triple numbers have come up in Pick 3," said Scott White, online product manager for the Missouri Lottery.  "Triple numbers are always the most popular.  After triple numbers, the most popular combinations are 1-2-3 and 3-6-9."

White said an average daily payout for Pick 3 is approximately $107,850, and yesterday’s payout was $348,960.

Last night is the eighth time since the Pick 3 game began in February 1987 that the combination 4-4-4 has been drawn.  The last time that combination was drawn was during the midday drawing on July 2, 2007.

Pick 3 drawings are held each day at 12:57 p.m. and 6:57 p.m.  For more information about Pick 3, visit the Lottery’s Web site at molottery.com.
