Show Me Cash Jackpot Prize to Expire June 28

One lucky Missouri Lottery player has just a few days remaining to claim a $239,703 jackpot prize from the Dec. 30, 2008, Show Me Cash drawing.  Unless the holder of this ticket comes forward, the prize will expire on June 28.

The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip, 9420 W. Florissant in Ferguson.  It matched all five numbers drawn to win the jackpot prize of $239,703.  The winning numbers were:  6, 7, 8, 9 and 22.

“If you find you have this winning ticket, please sign the back,” said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery.  “Then bring it to any of our Lottery offices to claim your prize.”

This ticket expires on Sunday - a day all Lottery offices will be closed – so the ticket holder is urged to make plans accordingly.

“If you have this winning ticket and are unable to make it into one of our offices before the end of the business week on Friday, please take the ticket to a Missouri Lottery retail location and ask the retailer to do an inquiry on the ticket,” Goedde said.  “You should then bring the ticket to a Lottery office the next work day, which in this case is Monday, June 29.”

Goedde said a player could also put the ticket in the mail, provided it is postmarked by June 28.

Missouri Lottery offices are located in Kansas City, Jefferson City, St. Louis and Springfield.  Maps to each office can be found at www.molottery.com.

Show Me Cash winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  Any prize money that goes unclaimed 180 days after the draw date will go to benefit Missouri public education.
