ConAgra Retiree Wins $55,927 Lucky Dough Prize

Story Photo Gary Graham of Linneus is the second Missouri Lottery player to match all eight lines in the Lottery’s newest daily Numbers Game, Lucky Dough.  The accomplishment earned Graham, 60, a jackpot prize of $55,927.

Graham, a retired ConAgra employee, purchased his winning ticket at Horseshoe Bar and Grill, 209 W. State St. in Linneus, on May 4.

According to Graham, a first-time Lottery winner, he "wasn’t sure what it meant" when he saw that all eight of his numbers, which he selected using Quick Pick, matched the winning numbers for the drawing.

"I thought I won about $200," he revealed.  "I showed it to the bartender, and he told me that I won $55,927, and I said, ’What?’"

Graham plans to save his windfall in the bank, and "play more Keno."

"Lucky Dough,"  which officially began on March 2, is played much like tic-tac-toe.  The more lines you match, the more you win.  The game is played at more than 1,000 social environments with liquor-by-the-drink licenses with drawings held every five minutes from 5 a.m. to 1:50 a.m.  It offers a rolling jackpot that starts at $10,000 and continues to grow until someone wins it.
