Story Photo

A Missouri Lotto player who buys tickets at Shop N Save, 1032 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis, is $1.1 million richer!  One Lotto ticket sold there for the April 8 drawing matched all six numbers drawn – 2, 15, 22, 25, 26 and 30 – to win the jackpot.

"If you buy Lotto tickets there, you will want to check them," said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery.  “If you discover you have the winning ticket, sign the back and put it in a safe place until you can take it to a Lottery office to claim your prize.”

Lotto winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  In this case, the winner has until Oct. 5, 2009.

Missouri Lottery offices are located in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Springfield and Kansas City.  Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s Web site at molottery.com.

There have been 189 winning Missouri Lotto jackpot tickets sold since the game began in 1986.
