Ella Scott, 60, of St. Louis has made many trips to the 7-Eleven at 201 N. 17th St. in St. Louis to purchase Missouri Lottery tickets.  The self-professed Lottery fan regularly plays Pick 3 and Pick 4 there.  She also “loves Crossword and Bingo” Scratchers tickets – an affection that paid off in the amount of $50,003 on Feb. 23.

“I had won $3 on a Crossword ticket and turned it in for the (winning) ‘Triple Bingo’ ticket,” she said.  However, it wasn’t until later that night when she scratched the new ticket at home that she realized exactly how much she had won.

Scott recalled thinking as she scratched her ticket, “No way will they give me G-60” – the lucky combination needed to turn her ticket into a top-prize winner.  To her surprise, G-60 was precisely what her card revealed.

“It was unreal,” said Scott.  “I checked it like 15 times before I called my daughter.”

The retired AT&T worker plans to “get a better computer” with part of her winnings, noting she does “a lot of the promotions” at Molottery.com.  Scott also plans to share some of her good fortune with her daughter and her family.

Triple Bingo,” a $3 game with a top prize of $50,000 began on Jan. 14.
