Park Hills Woman Lands $100,000 Lottery Prize

Heather Beatte, 33, of Park Hills was one of four Missouri Lottery players to score a $100,000 second-level prize during the Lottery’s Million-Dollar Raffle on Jan. 20.

Beatte purchased her winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 103 Strauss Dr. in Park Hills.

The sole raffle ticket worth the top $1 million prize was sold in St. Charles.  In addition, four hundred forty winning numbers were also drawn to receive $500.

The Million-Dollar Raffle was a Numbers Game that was a modern version of a traditional raffle.  For $10, players could purchase a ticket with a 10-digit raffle number.  Tickets were sold in sequential order from Nov. 17, 2008, through Jan. 17, and the drawing was held on Jan. 20.  With total sales reported at 171,803 tickets, the game offered the best chance ever to win $1 million.  A list of all 445 winning raffle ticket numbers is available at Molottery.com.
