Lottery Sends $22.2 Million To Public Education

The Missouri Lottery today transferred $22.2 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs.  The December proceeds transfer of $22,284,118 was based on November ticket sales and brings the total transferred in fiscal year 2009 to more than $129 million.

Since the Lottery began nearly 23 years ago, it has generated more than $3.3 billion in proceeds for the state, including public education.

Six Scratchers To Expire In February

Six Missouri Lottery Scratchers games will expire in February.  They are:

  • Game 694 – “Big Money” expires Feb. 5, 2009;
  • Game 695 – “Winning Fever” expires Feb. 5, 2009;
  • Game 696 – “Cold Hard Cash” expires Feb. 5, 2009;
  • Game 672 – “Triple Win” expires Feb. 22, 2009;
  • Game 683 – “Block Bingo” expires Feb. 22, 2009;
  • Game 698 – “Big Bang Bucks” expires Feb. 22, 2009.
