St. Louis Sales Team Claims $10,000 Powerball Prize

Story Photo A group of seven co-workers will share a $10,000 Powerball prize after matching four white balls drawn in the Nov. 22 drawing.   The team of sales specialists works for Rose International, an information technology staffing and solutions company in St. Louis.  David Keithley, spokesperson for the team, says their win occurred the second week the group played Powerball as a team.

“There was mass hysteria at the office,” said Keithley, after learning of their win.  “We were jumping up and down.”

The group claimed their prize on Nov. 25, two days before Thanksgiving.  The group says they have not made plans for their prize money.

“We will just eat more turkey,” said Keithley.

Team members are; Oliver Schler and Ken LaRose, St. Charles; David Schaller and David Keithley, Ballwin; Joseph Coates, Ashland; Charla Sellers, Steelville; and Terrell Jackson, Florissant.

Powerball is a multi-state game that gives players nine ways to win cash prizes with the jackpot starting at $15 million.  In addition to the jackpot, the game offers second-level prizes of $200,000, and third-level prizes of $10,000.
