KELTNER RECEIVES NEW TRUCK FOR FATHER'S DAY

Father’s Day didn’t mean a new tie or another coffee mug for one Independence dad after his family gave him a winning Missouri Lottery ticket worth a brand new Ford F-150 truck and $500. Michael Keltner, 50, of Independence received five "Truckin’ To Luckytown" Scratchers tickets from his wife, Patricia, and his two children for Father’s Day. His wife had purchased the tickets at QuikTrip, 39th Street in Independence, last Wednesday. Keltner realized he was a winner of a 2001 Ford F-150 Lariat 4WD Supercrew Styleside SB truck and $500 for gas money when he scratched off the first of the five tickets on Father’s Day. "We don’t know what we are going to do with the 1994 Silverado truck we drive right now," says Keltner. "For the time being" the Keltners plan to keep the new Ford F-150 truck. "Truckin’ To Luckytown" officially went on sale June 10.
