Cox Hospital Engineers Claim $10,000 Powerball Prize

A group of Cox Hospital employees proved that seven heads are better than one when they claimed the $10,000 Powerball prize in the Nov. 5 Powerball drawing. The seven winners work in the engineering department at Cox Hospital in Springfield.
The winners include: James Aldridge, 54, of Fordland; Ty Baker, 42, of Fair Grove; Rocky Pellham, 51, of Willard; Chad Salle, 29, of Garrison; Kurt Sloan, 53, of Rogersville; and Stevan Battles, 55, and Leslie Thomas, 54, both of Springfield.
The group purchased their winning ticket at Cody’s 21, 2744 E. Chestnut Expressway in Springfield. The winning numbers were: 4, 8, 18, 33 and 36.
Powerball is a multi-state game with jackpots that start at $15 million. For an extra dollar, players can select the Power Play option to multiply their non-jackpot prizes between two and five times.
