Southern Missouri Family Members Win Lotto Jackpot
Bruce Wright of Isabella and his son-in-law Joseph Novak of Gainesville, are $2.3 million richer after they shared the Sept. 20 Missouri Lottery Lotto jackpot. Wright, 62, and Novak, 50, took the cash option for their share of the $2.3 million prize, which is $716,755 each before taxes.
Wright and Novak purchased their winning ticket at Boyd Garrison Enterprise, 2904 HC 2 in Theodosia. Boyd Garrison Enterprise will receive a check equal to 1 percent of the jackpot prize - which is $23,000 - for selling the winning ticket.
To date, 259 tickets worth $1 million or more have been sold since Missouri Lottery sales started in January 1986. This is the 178th
Lotto jackpot ticket sold.
