Missouri Lottery To Refund Misprinted Tickets

Attention Missouri Lottery SHOW ME 5 Paydown players:  for a few hours on Sept. 7, the Lottery’s computer system continued to accept wagers beyond the last scheduled SHOW ME 5 Paydown drawing.  The Lottery determined that approximately 473 wagers were accepted from players who requested a SHOW ME 5 Paydown midday drawing ticket for Sept. 8, and the wagers were included in the first Show Me Cash evening drawing.
In accordance with game rules, which are printed on the back of the ticket, players who purchased one of these tickets are eligible for a refund.  In addition, if the numbers happened to match those numbers drawn in the Show Me Cash drawing on Sept. 8, the Lottery will pay the prizes.
The Lottery ended its SHOW ME 5 Paydown game on Sept. 7 and began a new game, Show Me Cash, on Sept. 8.  The new Show Me Cash game does not have a midday drawing.
“Once we became aware of the situation, corrective actions were taken immediately,” said Larry Jansen, executive director of the Missouri Lottery.  “We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.”
