LIBERTY WOMAN BAGS $800 AT MALL

Linda Houghtaling of Liberty left Independence Center $800 richer last Saturday after winning the top prize in the Missouri Lottery’s simulated version of the "Fun & Fortune" game show. Other show contestants and their winnings are: Patty Meza of Leavenworth, Kan., and Mickey Conner of Kansas City, who both won $250 and 250 Scratchers tickets; Helen Bradford of Buckner and Joyce Edmonds of Lexington, who both won 100 Scratchers tickets; and Carla House of Bates City and Kelly Auspach of New Cambria, who both won 50 Scratchers tickets. The game show was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in front of Dillard’s lower level. Contestants, who were determined during a non-winning ticket drawing, had a chance to win up to $1,500 cash and other prizes during the show. In addition, the first 500 people who entered the drawing received a "Fun & Fortune" T-shirt. The Missouri Lottery will hold one final simulated game show event in St. Louis on March 25. The regular "Fun & Fortune" game show can be seen in Kansas City on KCWE-TV, Channel 29, at 6 p.m. on Saturdays.
