Pilot Grove Construction Worker Uncovers $10,000 Prize

Story Photo A Pilot Grove construction worker plans to buy a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle after he uncovered a $10,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery “Ruby Red 7’s” Scratchers ticket on July 30.  Leland Stewart, 52, said he has been thinking about buying one, and the win now “speeds up the process.”
“I plan to have one by the end of the day,” he told lottery staff when he claimed his prize at the Jefferson City office on July 31. 

Stewart, who works for A & B Construction in Bunceton, purchased his winning ticket at Casey’s. 104 Harris Street in Pilot Grove.

The $5 "Ruby Red 7’s" Scratchers game officially began on May 3.
