St. Louis Man Wins $41,618 Playing Club Keno

A St. Louis man said he is planning to pay off some bills after he won $41,618 playing the Missouri Lottery Club Keno Numbers game.  Michael Kennedy, 47, won on May 31 while playing the game at Show-Me’s of South County, 3500 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis.

Kennedy, an aircraft mechanic, said he was "flippin’" out when he realized how much money he had won.

"Everybody started to play after I won," Kennedy said.  "Sales really went up."

Kennedy used Quick Pick to select his seven winning numbers, and he won the game’s progressive jackpot.

The Progressive jackpot feature started on Jan. 16.  Club Keno players who play the six-, seven- and eight-spot games are automatically eligible - with no additional costs - to win the extra Progressive jackpot prize.  If the jackpot is not won during the drawing, it will continue to grow until it is won.  The Progressive jackpot is pari-mutuel, so players will share the jackpot, based on the amount and the number of winning shares in each prize category.
