ST. LOUIS MAN WINS $100,000 IN POWERBALL

A former Memphis, Tenn., radio talk show host is going to buy a new pickup truck and a small fishing boat after winning $100,000 in the March 4 Powerball drawing. James "Jim" Ruzicka, 56, (63108*) said he let the computer pick the winning combination. Those numbers were: 3, 6, 8, 43 and 48. Ruzicka said he has been on disability since he contracted throat cancer and was no longer able to continue his radio career. He purchased his winning ticket at Schnucks Market, 4171 Lindell Ave. in St. Louis. To date, 479 Powerball tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since the Powerball game began eight years ago. * zip code to help media determine coverage area
